Dot Net reader Simon Tipple is at the WWE Smackdown tapings in London and is passing along the following results as they happen.

Dark Match

1. Umaga defeated R-Truth. The ECW tapings took place after this match. Check the main page for the results of those tapings.

WWE Smackdown tapings

It was announced that Shane McMahon and Batista vs. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes will take place later in the show.

Edge came to the ring. He cut a promo saying he would win on Sunday. He also showed footage from Raw of his attack on John Cena.

1. Matt Hardy and Kane beat Jeff Hardy and C.M. Punk. Matt pinned Jeff in a decent match.

2. Big Show defeated Undertaker via knockout.

3. Maryse defeated Gail Kim to retain the WWE Divas Title. Maryse won with a DDT.

4. MVP defeated Chavo Guerrero is up next. Dolph Ziggler came out afterward and said the U.S. Title will be his next week. Does this mean they're having a Raw match or a pay-per-view match?

5. Shane McMahon and Batista defeated Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. Shane pinned Cody to win the match for his team. They set up for the WWE Superstars match, so this was likely the end of the Smackdown tapings.

Dark Match

1. Triple H defeated Randy Orton in a cage match to retain the WWE Championship. Hunter won with a Pedigree.
